Ignorance is Bliss

Ignorance some say is a curse and of course there is nothing wrong in saying that as it leads to frequent road accidents, negligence, and loss of opportunities, etc.........

But never have we imagined that Ignorance is bliss too. Often fantasizing about my thoughts when I came through this feeling I just wondered how many a times a spider crawling on my skin, a lizard close by when I lean at walls, a ruptured portion of insulated wire while doing connections, all go unattended while still the moments not carried by fear.
A story which I read in class by Natalie Hawthorne beautifully portrays the concept of Ignorance .This short story titled “David Swan” is a about the same person who on a foot journey from his home town to Boston decides to take a nap under a tree which was close by a shower. While he was sleeping –wealth, love and death passed by him and he remain unnoticed .Wealth in the form of a rich old-couple (who have lost their only son) came to him when their cart was stopped for some repairs at that place where Swan was sleeping .The Spouse was so very attracted by the innocence of Swan that she with his husband decides to adopt him .But as the carriage shouted to go ,they went away .Then after sometime a sweet beautiful girl passing by came to tighten her pants blushed while seeing Swan sleeping under the tree .She felt as if she was in the bedroom of this handsome guy and was attracted by his charm .But due to the fear that he might wake up she went away.  Then their came two rascals with their bottle of liquor. Seeing the man sleeping they decided to rob him .One of them pointed a dagger to his heart and the other tried to find his purse ,so that f he wakes up they would kill him .Before they might act ,a dog came close by and thinking that his master would also be close by they drank their liquor and went away .Thus, after passing through wealth ,love and death David Swan woke after an hour and continued his journey.
Thus we can argue that Ignorance keeps our mind calm, out of tension just by making us unaware of the facts.
